The base premise of Music Recorder is the ability to record audio from online sources that would typically have no native way to do so. Examples of such services include YouTube, Spotify, VEVO, and even desktop applications such as Windows Media Player and iTunes. There are even features to automatically pull any relevant ID3 tag information and properly label the output file for added convenience when sorting through your recordings later. It can also be set to filter out the ads in some cases. Audio can be saved as MP3/M4A with the same quality as the source, and recordings can also be scheduled.
Could Use More
While the app is good, more features would be appreciated for the price tag. Being able to export to more than two files formats for instance. Also the app requires the installation of a third party plugin, which is something of a security concern. The automatic ID3 tagging can also be a bit hit and miss.
